After the battle of Hogwarts 30 years ago, the entire magical world was upside down. Hogwarts was almost destroyed and needed to be build up again and with that, the Ministry of Magic decided that they wanted to build a university. For even better education. Five years later it was done and not only students from Hogwarts, but students from all over the world enrolled for their first year. Now, the University of Hogwarts is the biggest school in the world, where kids dream of going when they grow up. Keep a few things in mind:
general
1. UoH offers six years of study in total, getting students ready for their future jobs. After four years, a student gets their bachelor and are able to choose if they want to study for their masters for two more years.
2. Wizards and witches of all ages above 18 are allowed to enroll on UoH.
3. The quidditch competition is very popular, a lot of outsiders come to watch the matches in the campus stadium.
4. Every house has two prefects, a head of house and there are only two headboys and/or girls. They're all allowed to give housepoints.
5. Trips to the diagon alley are arranged once a month. Anything you would need is provided for on the campus.
6. School uniforms are only worn during school time, monday / friday.
7. Students are aloud to sign up for any classes they want, but only have one major.
quidditch
1. Each term has six quidditch matches. It is possible to arrange a practise game early on. So every team plays against one another at least once.
2. If you have more then one character, you can only have two of them in a team. This is because positions are limited and we want to give everyone a shot at RPing quidditch. If there happen to be positions available that are not likely to be taken anytime soon, you could have another position, only if you're able to keep up with it.
3. One game of quidditch will be open for two weeks. If the snitch hasn't been caught by then, the captains are send a trivia question and whoevers answer is right will be the winner of the match.
4. The point system:Goal, by chaser: 10 points + 10 housepoints
Save, by keeper: 12 points
Cheering, by audience: 1 point
Hit, by beater: 8 points
Snitch, by seeker: 50 points
5. A quidditch match will be like any other RP. You're able to post at all times, even as audience. Please note that you can't score, unless it's your position's turn. The referee will randomly post one-worded replies (a position) and only then the next two posts under that are able to score points. For example; the referee posts "chaser", only the next two chasers that post directly under the referee, are able to score now. Same for every other position, except for the seeker, where only the first one to post will catch the snitch.
6. The audience is able to win points by posting directly under the referee's post, whatever position was called for. Do remember that you're only getting 1 point for your team with that.
7. Don't cheat and don't make up your own rules.
8. The team with the most points by the end of the game, wins.
