rules
1. Each term has six quidditch matches. So every team plays against one another at least once. It is possible to arrange a practise game early on.
2. If you have more then one character, you can only have two of them in a team. This is because positions are limited and we want to give everyone a shot at RPing quidditch. If there happen to be positions available that are not likely to be taken anytime soon, you could have another position, only if you're able to keep up with it.
3. One game of quidditch will be open for two weeks. If the snitch hasn't been caught by then, the captains are send a trivia question and whoever answers right will be the winner of the match. Since the referee is keeping track of time every game, this is not very likely to happen though.
4. The point system:
5. A quidditch match will be like any other RP. You're able to post at all times, even as audience. Please note that you can't score, unless it's your position's turn. The referee will randomly post one-worded replies (a position) and only then the next two posts under that are able to score points. For example; the referee posts "chaser", only the next two chasers that post directly under the referee, are able to score now. Same for every other position, except for the seeker, where only the first one to post will catch the snitch.
6. The audience is able to win points by posting directly under the referee's post, whatever position was called for. Do remember that you're only getting 1 point for your team with that.
7. Don't cheat and don't make up your own rules.
8. The team with the most points by the end of the game, wins.
