He paused, had she seriously still been holding that grudge? His eyes narrowed, and if it had been anyone else; well... it wouldn't have been a pretty scene. He stared to her, his smile had faltered and the playful glint in his eye had died down. This had been how Osiris normally looked when he had to deal with morons of course, he'd never consider Kallie a moron, one of the things that had attracted him so too her had been that she hadn't been a moron- far from it.
"You knew, what we had going into it. I was clear to tell you the boundaries." he spoke to her calmly, as he gripped his broom stick a bit tightly. Gods, it hadn't been his fault that she let her emotions get in the way, it seemed it had been all girls had done. He looked to the sketch book, and sighed. Dammit, how come he actually.. had that feeling again. Ugh, unfortunately Osiris didn't think he could feel sympathy or sadness for others, so he often just called that feeling an annoyance.
He had known how much she had enjoyed sketching, it had been her life practically. No matter where the two went, she always dragged along that gods ugly book, that held such beautiful pictures in it. He listened to her,"No." he spoke stubbornly to her.It wasn't his fault that she decided to go psycho one day and completely snap on him, it hadn't been his fault she liked him. Honestly, Osiris wasn't really a good person, at least.. very few could see the good in him. He had a feeling she’d cry more if he told her the reason he came here had been for Taylor, the woman he loved.
Most people had thought he couldn’t have that emotion, yet here he was standing in front of Kallie. Her tears threatened her face yet again, and the only thing he could think about doing- well he did it. He dropped his broom stick and brought her into a tight embrace, cradling her head against his chest. ”I didn’t forget about you Kallie, and please don’t ever say that.” he spoke with an unnatural softness to his voice, as he rested his head against hers. ”I didn’t think it hurt you, i just thought you hated me.. i didn’t know you’d act like this.” he spoke quietly to her.
GODS!
Women, always with their tears, and mixed signals, and, and... he just wanted to ride his broom a bit more, or maybe even find a pretty woman to hit on, to take his mind off of things. Not Taylor, he already had her for the most part, not Kallie for sure, this girl already blamed him for enough. He doubted she'd need him playing with her emotions. He gripped her tightly, just in case she decided to fight against him. He couldn't take her crying anymore, he didn't know why but it tugged his heart to his stomach- just as it had done when he witnessed Taylor crying.
"In your town of morons, you were the sliver of sanity that kept me from killing everyone. I guess, I miss you as a friend." he spoke, this side had been rare a rare side of Osiris, even if it held his bitter views of the world in it.
