Mason smiled a little at the girl, he could tell that she was exhausted and she honestly looked at is she was ready to pass out on the bed and just sleep for a few hours, but like she had already pointed out he head would be filled with images of what had just happened to her. his smile fell and he shook his head.

"hope what won't come up?" he smiles a reassuring smile, he knew what she was on about but he wanted to make her feel better and he honestly he just wanted to forget the sight he had saw and he wanted her to forget what had happened to her, but he knew it was never going to happen "that's in the past, it will never be brought up again, anyone that does find out and bring it up around you will find them self in the hospital wing for a few days as a warning not to upset you again" a smirk grows on his lips as he winks towards her.

"well I'm going to get you food so it will just be another stop, just don't be going and falling asleep while I'm gone. I don't think I would have the heart to wake you if you did and well you wouldn't have had the dreamless sleep by then" he smiles a little. he could tell her how he had really known she had been up in that tower but telling someone you were a seer well in the past he had found that people tended to ask for him to tell them their futures. yeah it didn't work like that. but if he told Taylor he had saw it in a 'vision' then he would have to tell her the rest of it, how he saw that that evil bitch was going to get away with it.

he shook his head trying to get the thought of the Snake escaping into the forest out of his head. "yeah I think most of them would run if they saw a girl in her... I share this room with the boys I went to school with back in America and well lets just say I'm the only one that can say hi to a girl without turning red and stuttering" he laughs a little the thought about Savannah still burning in the back of his mind but he chose to ignore it.

chuckling as the girl Blushes Mason's smile is replaced with a Smirk again. "you really are beautiful" he rests his hands on her waist after she had stood up "steady?" he asks not wanting to let her go till she was alright on her own... well he didn't want to let her go full stop, he had a strange pulling sensation in his chest as his heart decided it wanted to protect the girl.

"are you going to the Halloween ball with anyone?" Mason asks before he would leave, if she said no he would ask her to go with him but if she said yes he would just have to keep an eye out for trouble from a distance.

A timid yet amused smile appeared on Taylor’s face when Mason asked what she was talking about. This boy really had a strange sense of humor and that was cheering her up a lot. She let out a twinkling laugh and nodded her head. ”Thanks, I really appreciate it Mason. I really don’t know how to thank you enough.”

The girl nodded her head as she listened to the boy talk. ”Okay,” Taylor said, in a childlike voice as she heaved another yawn, ”I’ll try not to. But it’s so hard to keep my eyes open, so I don’t think I can make promises thought.” She gently rubbed her eyes to keep them open.

Just then an errant thought popped into Taylor mind and she asked curiously, ”Mason, if you don’t mind me asking, how did you know where to come and find me? I was sure that neither of me or the other girl screamed that loudly… did we?” Her face fell slightly as she remembered the poor girl, but her curiously won and her sorrow was pushed away slightly.

Taylor chuckled softly at Mason’s words. ”Really?” She asked amused, ”It sounds a lot like you went to an all boy’s school before coming here. But I do suppose to some girls, guys who turn red and stutter are actually rather cute.” A small twinkle had slowly returned to the girl’s eyes.

However the blush that had been on Taylor’s cheeks stayed when Mason told her that she was really beautiful. She ducked her head and muttered when the boy asked her if she was steady on her feet, ”Yeah, I’m good now.” The hand around her waist, made the girl’s inside all fuzzy and warm. It was a rather odd sensation, but to tell the truth, she actually liked it.

Taylor lifted her head up again and shook it when Mason asked her if she was going to the ball with anyone. ”No, I’m not going with anyone at the moment, why?” She said with a smile. Was he going to ask her? If he was, was she going to say yes? The girl’s head spun with all of these random questions.

Mason relaxed when he noticed he had made Taylor smile. He must have been doing something write then. He smiled at her fondly when she let out a laugh, that wasn’t what he had expected to hear for a while not after everything she had just gone through, maybe his charm was working amazingly at that moment in time, he had no idea. “you can thank me by letting me wait on you hand and foot.” his smile grows.



“and if you fall asleep I will try to wake you up to give it to you but I am not making any promises. You just have a face you don’t want to disturb” he shrugs, he knew if she fell asleep while he was gone she was going to have to wake her up to give her the dreamless sleep or she would wake up from a nightmare which he really didn’t want, she was only just calming down now she didn’t need the reminder of what she had seen.



Mason looked at her and pointed to his skull after she asked “maybe pointing to my eyes would be a better thing” his hand dropped to his side “I’m a seer. I saw it all I just had to find you I guess I was too late for the other girl. But to be honest you were the reason I came to the rescue rather than go run for help. I knew I would be cutting it short anyway without getting help” his hand goes to her chin as he gently tilts her head back up “there was nothing either of us could have done to save her. Savannah couldn’t have been stopped”



“yeah really” he shakes his head and laughs at her observation skills and picking up that he had gone to an all boys school “yeah I went to an all boys school. Salam Academy for Boys about 10 miles away was the girls school” he shrugged “I hope your not one of those girls that think there cute. Couldn’t have some stuttering boy steal you away before I have had chance to ask you on a date now could we?”



Even though she had told him she was steady he wasn’t ready to remove his hands from her waist, to stop the contact between them. “good” he nods a little “well if your not going with anyone will you do me the honour of being my date for the evening?”

A surprised look came across Taylor's face when she heard Mason's reply. "Y-you w-want to w-wait on m-me?" She stuttered, a red stain came upon her face again. Had she heard wrong again? What was with this boy? Never had anyone want to do that before.. Okay scratch that, many guys wanted to, but she never had one who was so persistent and she had never felt this embarrassed and shy too. "I-I guess, you c-can, if you want to." She muttered, looking away, but a small smile played on the girl's lips.

The small grin spread on Taylor's face as she turned her head to focus on Mason again. "Fineee," She said with a slight shake of her head, "I'll try to stay awake. I don't want to have those nightmares again." The girl shuddered slightly and rubbed her arms slightly with her hands to get rid of the goosebumps that had suddenly appeared.

Another look of surprise entered Taylor's face. A seer? Really? She had never ever met one before up until now at least. "A seer? That's pretty cool and rather handy no?" She asked with a smile. The smile however slid off the girl's face as she heard what Mason had said about Savannah.

She sighed and gently removed the boy's hand, away from her face. "I know, but it still sucked. I wish I could have at least jumped in front of the girl or or at least knocked the knife away." Taylor muttered with a frown on her face as she thought about what she could have done to save the poor dead girl. "Great," She suddenly said, "That girl's ghost is probably going to come back and haunt me."

Taylor's frown flickered away as she gave Mason an amused smile as she listened to him talk about his school. "Humm, maybe I'm one of those girls." She teased softly. "But don't worry, you have an advantage that they don't have. You saved me, so I have already considered you as my hero." It wasn't hard to tell that the girl was blushing, for her face was already red from before.

Hearing Mason ask her to the dance, Taylor gave him a blank look before slowly nodding her head. "Sure, I would love to go to the dance with you." She said, giving the boy a genuine smile. How could she refuse him? After all he had saved her and she had secretly liked him even before this incident.

Mason couldn't help but laugh at her reaction to what he had said to her. he found it hard to believe that it was that much of rare accurance in her life, she was the kind of girl that her expected to find guys falling at her feet so the fact she seemed lost for words did surprise him quite a bit "yes I want to wait on you. you deserve to be able to sit back and relax while a guy looks after you" a smirk formed on his lips as her cheeks stained red from the blush. "well I'm glad your willing to let me, cause I wouldn't want to have to force you to let me"



"good" he smiled at her "and if you do fall asleep I will try to wake you. scouts honor"



Mason shakes his head, he seemed to be surprising her a lot at the moment, he wasn't sure how much more he could do to surprise her but he had decided it was his goal to do just that again "yes I'm a seer" he shrugs, he didn't actually find the gift all that helpful or cool, most of the time he seemed to just giving out prophecy's, that everyone just thought was a load of bull. "to be honest its a crappy gift to be born with. my life has already been decided, I don't really get to decide what I want to do, I hate the fact I'm expected to give prophecy's and just do that for the rest of my life. I rarely have a vision of something that will help someone"



he let his hand drop when she moved it "hey now don't say that, if you had jumped in between them, there would be two dead bodies not one. and I wouldn't want you to be in that position" he shakes his head trying not to get angry over what she had said. "she isn't going to haunt you. you did nothing wrong. it's Savannah who should watch her back with ghosts"



"I sure hope your teasing me cause I think I would be heartbroken if I found out I wasn't your type" he pouts a little "ahh the only time my seer ability has been any help to my life" he shrugs and laughs lightly "your hero? I like that"



he lets his hand go back to her face, lifting it to look at him "well its a date then. now I believe I was meant to be going to get you some food. so you go shower and I will be back before you know it" he places a light kiss on her lips before letting go of her and taking a step back.

When Mason started to laugh at her, Taylor pouted a little and muttered, ”Hey, don’t laugh at me.” She crossed her arms across her chest as she mocked glared at the boy in front of her. ”And I don’t deserve to have a guy wait on me.” She added with a whisper. Her thoughts went back to the reason why Savannah wanted to kill her. Oh Merlin she was a whore… already moving onto another guy.

She shook her head trying to make the thought fade away. But it wasn’t any good. Savannah’s voice stuck in her mind, the comment seared into her brain. Taylor let out a soft sigh before looking back up at Mason. The glare slowly fading away, being replaced by a sadden look. ”You wouldn’t want me if you knew the reason why she was after me.” She muttered softly. Not feeling so good anymore, the girl nodded her head and started to go back to sit on the bed.

When Mason told her that he thought that his gift was crappy, Taylor let out a surprised noise. ”You think it’s crappy? No it’s not. No one’s life is decided for them Mason. I think we ought to decided our own fate and destiny.” She proclaimed with a smile.  Goodness, do you  have bipolar disorder or something? The girl thought to herself as she said, ”As for the giving prophecy part. I still think that it’s pretty neat to be able to do that, a little creepy, but still awesome.”

Taylor hung her head sadly when Mason reminded her that if she had done something, there might have been two dead bodies in stead of one. A tear ran down her face as she sniffled and nodded her head. ”Yeah, I know and thanks.” She promised herself not to do any more of that crap and as for the last part of her secret, she locked it away, deep, deep into the furthest part of her heart, never to let it to return to the surface.

Hearing what the boy was saying next, Taylor lift up her head and gave Mason another teary chuckle. ”Don’t worry. I was just teasing you. I don’t think I can handle breaking any more hearts.  I have already did that too many times already.” She added solemnly. She then smiled and nodded her head. ”Yup, you are my hero. My knight in shining armor.”

When her head was once again tilted up to face Mason’s, Taylor blushed at his words. ”G-great. It’s a d-date then.” Before she could say anymore, her lips were being covered by the boy’s own very warm ones as she was gently kissed.

The kiss was over before she knew it, but even when Mason stepped back, the dumbfound look still stayed on the girl’s now scarlet face. ”M’kay.” Taylor squeaked after finding her voice and hurried of to the showers after grabbing the clothes that was offered to her. Gah, oh dear Merlin, everything was being turned upside down!
