Name: Dawn Autumn Cantilupe
Age: 18
House: Hufflepuff
Position: Female Commentator
Quidditch Background: Uh, well, I actually don't know how to fly yet... I would love to learn, but I have no problem with taking it slow. But once I learned about Quidditch, I was really fascinated by it. I want to see all of the games, and I think the best way to do that is to be a commentator. Besides, it might help me boost my self-confidence if I do this! I just hope I can speak well in front of everyone.

"Oh and look at the Slytherin Chasers tear down the field! Looks like this won't be such an easy win for Gryffindor. Oh, but then one of the Gryffindor Beaters, Sybil I believe, just slammed a Bludger right at the Slytherin Chasers, causing them to drop the quaffle. Go, Gryffindor!" Dawn shouted. She couldn't help but stay focused on the game in front of her. She didn't really feel the chill wind on the back of her neck. The rain was pouring and frigid. She tied back her long, soaked dark brown hair before focusing back in on the game.
She was shaking a bit from the cold, but her blonde co-host didn't seem to notice or care. That didn't bother Dawn as she shrugged deeper into her thick denim coat. She could hear her fellow Hufflepuffs cheering on the Gryffindors along with Ravenclaw and other Gryffindors. No one really favored Slytherin still, which she felt a bit bad about. But then again, Slytherin was on a serious power trip again and seemed unbeatable. While Dawn was thinking, her co-host shouted, "And Gryffindor scores! Ten points to them for their fantastic goal!"
Dawn awoke from her thoughts and smiled into the microphone. "But now it looks like Slytherin has regained possession of the quaffle. It looks like it's Malfoy who is- oh my gosh, he's going straight for the hoops! And no one is blocking his path!" she shouted. She couldn't rein in her excitement; she was always so lively and energetic during games. As Slytherin scored not once, but twice, she watch the crowd with a bit of happiness. It was times like these that she lived for. She could deal with any amount of bullying so long as she could see everyone bonding together through Quidditch. It was one of the few times that everyone forgot she was the quiet, insecure girl from the States. She almost jumped out of her seat as she saw the Gryffindor Seeker catch the Snitch, ending the game in their favor. Her co-host said, "And Gryffindor has ended the game with a total score of 275, leaving Slytherin with only 120 points."
Dawn smiled as she shook her head. "It's too bad that Slytherin didn't win, but better luck to them next time. Until next time folks, be sure to stay out of this cold weather. Take care, everybody!" Dawn's co-host took off as soon as she said their farewells to the crowd while the audience dispersed. She stuck around just so she could talk to the professors, not wanting to go back to her dorm just yet.
