It was always good to be back on campus for Olivia. Especially after the summer break, when the weather was still nice out and the students still energetic and excited. The first Charms lesson of the year was about to start and Olivia could hear students roaming around outside their classes. Luckily for her, the nerves were nowhere to be found this year. Her first year as Headmistress a while ago Olivia had decided that teaching herself would be too much, but after she got the hang of it she decided too take over the Charms lessons herself again. She missed it too much, the direct contact with the students was too much fun to give up.
Most students always liked her. Probably because she’s not that much older and is way more understanding because of that. Olivia isn’t blind of course, she knows some of the male students mainly like her because of her looks, but everyone also respects her because she’s... well, just the Headmistress of their school and they don’t want to get expelled. It’s one of the perks.
Looking around her classroom she smiled, it was huge. One side was just like any other classroom, but on the other side there was a huge practise ground, where from time to time they collaborated with the Dark Arts department to duel. Olivia made a quick note to herself with a reminder to set a duelling competition up this year. Last year’s competition had been amazing and all the students loved it, wether they were majoring the Dark Arts or not.
Walking to her desk, Olivia rearranged her attire and did a quick once over her clothing, making sure nothing was inappropriate. She ran a hand through her hair and puffed it up for a bit more volume before sitting down and letting out a sigh. She cleared her throat and waited patiently for the students to arrive.
