Things that go bump in the hall.

Tira made her way into th grand entrance hall. Dressed in a black sports bra and jogging bottoms her long platinum blonde hair pulled back into a high ponytail her beautiful face void of makeup. She liked to rise with the sun and be alone with her thoughts. When she ran there was no one judging her. Nobody that would be drawn to her allure thanks to her Veela blood. It was just herself, nature, her thoughts and the "muggle" music that her parents disapproved of. 

Pulling the ear buds from her ears she looked around and it appeared others were only just stirring. Bringing the eater bottle to her lips she walked towards the stairs but still lost to her thoughts she inadvertently bummped sombody.

Jared was alright out and about way before everyone was awake. He tend to wake up early for he knew that since he was a werewolf, the best he could do was to hide indoors when night falls, just in case it was a full moon and that he forgot about it.

Jogging about the grounds in just a pair of running shorts, Jared was just heading back to his common room when someone accidentally bumped in to him. Taking a good step backwards, the boy gave whomever it was that bumped into him a swift look for injuries.

"No, it's my fault really. I should have looked where I was going." Jared said politely when the girl stopped to apologize as well. With a start he realized who he had bumped into. Tira, one of the new girls that had just came in this year. She was pretty, everyone knew that, but somehow he was more drawn to her than the other girls around school. There was a rumor around that veelas were around. Perhaps she was one?

Tira smiled as Jared offered his apologies,  pulling her hair over her shoulder she ran her fingers through her platinum locks.

"No it was my fault I was just lost to my thoughts, but then I'm always like that after a really good run"

Tira eyed his outfit but couldn't help but stare at him. Drinking in his form she was lots to thoughts of another kind, and she was well aware he would be doing the same giving the fact she was Veela it's in the genes.

"I don't think I've ever seen you on my runs where do you go?....Maybe we could run tougher some time?"

Jared sighed a little in amusement. When he apologized to Tira and said that it was his fault, the girl contradicted him and said that no it was her fault. He could have rebuffed her, but however held his tongue. The boy really didn't want to be stuck here all day, half naked arguing with the girl.

Nodding his head, Jared just allowed the statement to slid pass but picked up on the last part of her statement. "I know what you mean. I get a little absentminded as well." Yeah, that was probably why he ran into her in the first place. He could have dodged Tira, but he hadn't noticed her until the last minute.

Feeling the girl's eyes, roam the top if his body, Jared let out a small cough and then answered her question. "I go running by the edge of the woods. I... feel safer there." He admitted softly, his eyes suddenly went towards the ground, not wanting to make eye contact with her. What the heck made him say that? He then looked back up at Tira and shrugged his shoulders, "Sure if you want."

Tira was sure he was uncomftable with her asking if she could accompany him on one of his runs that was the last thing she wanted to do. She was contemplating using the Veela blood to loosen him up but then she decided against it. She'd try to get him to be more comftable around her the old fashion way.

"If it makes you uncomftable then I'm sure I can find another way to turn if your not ok with me. Coming"

Jared blinked slightly in surprise. Had he been that obvious? Well not completely obvious. She had partially misunderstood him. Shaking his head, the boy said quickly, "Oh no, I didn't mean that Tira. We can go running together. But let's just stay away from the woods."

Yeah, it was better to stay away from the woods. He didn't have to worry about the creatures living in there, for they knew better to be attacking a were, but Jared didn't know what they would do to Tira. The only reason why he didn't want to go running with her near there, was because he didn't want to get her hurt.
