You allways meet twice... (Victor)

Aileen has survived till now. It was a friday afternoon, shool was over, Aileen allready changed in some casual stuff, so she wasn't wearing her uniform anymore. A red shirt and some skinny jeans... But she wasn't that kind of student, that forget about school and went down to the pub to do anything at the weekend but not being sober. She went into the library and looked around. Then she went over to a shelter. She had to look something up for DADA... Then she saw the book she was looking for. A few inches above her head. She stood up on her tiptoes and tried to reach the book. Then she climbed on the shelter so she reached the book, grabbed it and felt rumbling on the floor, a few other books around her. Outch.

    Victor cautiously went around the library. He didn't find it as safe as it had used to be for him in the past. It was due to that meeting with Ken a few days ago. Now the library was just another place for him to be cautious in. So really, no safe place anymore. He paused in his tracks when he heard books fall to the floor as well as something else. It surprised him by who he saw.

    "A...Aileen?" Victor said in a low voice.

Aileen collected the books around her, when she heard a familiar voice. She looked up suprised. "Oh, hey Victor... Sorry, I think I made I mess here", she said in a low voice and looked around. Yeah, this really was a mess... And the book she needed was still up there in the shelter. She sighed and looked around. Books, spreaded around her... "We allways meet, me lying on the floor, I suppose", she added silently. "Hopefully it won't be like this in classes..."

    "Many people...have..." Victor said as he came round and picked a few books up.

    Victor was still wearing his school uniform. He had just gotten out of his last class for the day and he hadn't gone off back to his dorm yet and changed. It wouldn't be much of a improved look for him though. Place the books he had gathered back on the shelf, he stayed quiet. Not sure what to say.

Aileen came to her feet and smiled at Victor. "Thanks", she said and then looked up to the only book that hadn't fallen down. "Sorry but... Could you get that book there?" She pointed at the book she needed. "I allready made a mess, tryin' to reach it. I don't want to cause a mess again, though I need to look up something..." Victor could reach the book easilier than she could... Why was she this tiny? She hated being small...

    "S...sure." Victor said.

    Reaching up for the book, he grabbed hold of the spine and brought it down. How was anyone suppose to get to that thing on a daily basis? He wondered if it was put up there just so people couldn't reach it. Victor held the book out to Aileen as he stood there.

    "So...what are...are you doing?" Victor asked.

Aileen took the book smiling at Victor. "Again thanks..." She looked at him kindly. "I need to study... I hardly know anyone here, so I've got nothing better to do and studying'll earn something, I suppose", she answered his question. She was talking in her low voice library voice, it was hard to understand her, because while talking this low her accent was really worse. "And what are you doing here, if I'm allowed to ask?", she gave the same question up to him.

 "You're welcome." Victor said, he had no trouble in talking in a low voice.

   Studying huh? Well that made sense, and normally Victor would be doing that. It's just....Victor wasn't sure on where to study now. He used to study in the library but....Nope. That's not going to happen. He honestly didn't know why he had come here considering the events of before.

    "Not really sure..." Victor answered, at least he was being truthful.

Aileen looked at him kind of suprised. "You don't know? Maybe then you should go out to the lake or to the pub maybe but hanging around in the library?" Then she smiled again. "I'm not trying to be insulting, though", she said and walked over to a table to lay the book on it. "I only could imagine better things than being here on a friday afternoon", she added with a sigh and someone shht at her. She rolled her eyes and grumbled something in irish. She wasn't in a mood for being exhorted. She even wasn't in a mood for studying, though.

    Pub? No. One would never catch Victor there. He just didn't see the point in going there. Plus...the pub was kind of where everyone else hanged out when they had the spare time so...yeah. Not the best place for a social outcast. The lake? Hm....well....Victor honestly didn't even consider there.

    "Um...well....." Victor started but then he went silent, he could think of nothing to say.
