Tell us all about your character:So I guess I should start off by telling you my name, it’s Levi... just Levi.I was born on June 7th 1986, making me…drum roll please. Twenty-Seven. I don’t have many bad habits. If I thought about it, I guess I spend a little too much time in front of the mirror, but my hair takes time, as hard as it is to believe I don’t wake up with my hair perfect. Um…I’m kind of stubborn, but in my defense I’m just standing by my beliefs. I have a tendency to act without thinking, but sometimes my impulsiveness works in my favor. I love to go out and have fun. Yeah...I can be a jackass sometimes, but well so can everyone. I’m a fairly good partier if I do say so myself, although, I have slowed down some as I’ve gotten older. I’ve a business to run after all. I’m a go getter, and will never shy away from a challenge. When I see something I wants, nothing will stop me from getting it. NOTHING! I’m big on honesty. Lie to me and we got a problem. I tell it like it is, you don’t like it tough. My biggest fear is kind of weird… promise not to laugh? Okay, I fear becoming like my father. My father wasn’t exactly the best father in the world. He controlled every aspect of my life and I hated it.

My parents, Theodore and Victoria, formerly Victoria Monroe got married after they graduated college as my father got her pregnant. My grandfather on my father’s side didn’t exactly approve my mother at all since she was born below his wealth status, and yea...I was born. Epic story there I know... I was nine when my mom died. I don’t really have a clear memory of her death, i'm pretty sure I blocked that from my memory, but mama wasn’t really the most healthiest person in the world, so when she came down with pneumonia we kind of knew it was her time to go. Oh yea, I forgot to mention I have 3 brothers, Evan, Brody, and Aiden and a sister, Willow.

As previously stated my parents got married a right out of college, my grandfather kicked my father out. I was six, I think when grandfather finally forgave Father, and let him back into the family...and subsequently the family business. It's furniture. My Name starting to sound familiar there? Sorenson Luxuries, the business that has been in the family for generations. To the average wizard/witch, Sorenson Luxuries is a high end retail store for the rich and powerful. But to the people in the know, Sorenson Luxuries is also a dark object exporter. They ship things that aren't exactly of the legal sorts,to anyone who dabbles in the dark arts. I don’t exactly have a close relationship with my father. It's not that Idon’t love him, because I do, I mean he's my father. It’s just that my father Theodore wasn’t always home, because well, most of the time he's off doing business or fucking one his mistresses, and he doesn’t always spend that much time with my siblings and I. I’m his oldest son, so that means that father expected the best out of me. He was always pushing me to be the best I be so I can take on the family business, whether I want to or not. Just so we’re clear I didn’t want to hence my profession. Back then I thought I had to or face death. I’m not exaggerating, I thought my father would kill me if I said no, and death was not on my list of things to do back then…or anytime soon. I was fourteen the first time I decided to go against my father’s plans for me. He took a fireplace poker held it into the fireplace and then proceeded to burn the skin along my ribs. I still have the scar. I never told my siblings how I really got the scar, but I think they suspect that he did it.

Like I said was first in line to run the business, but obviously… I’m not, so here’s how that happened. I was in my 2nd year of college when I realized, I could never be happy, working for my dad, so I changed my major to what I really wanted to study, education. It was probably the scariest thing I’ve ever did in my entire life. In the end, my dad kicked me out, disowned me, and hasn’t spoken to me in 9 years… Do I regret it? No… I mean, I miss my home, and my family, but I had to do what I had to do to be happy, and live my own life. Not the one my dad wanted me to live. Anyways, I graduated college top of my class, and wounded up back here at Hogwarts.

Well... my name is Lily. I am 25 years old, and I was born on May 31st 1988 to my parents Amelia and Alistair. I am a Metamorphmagus, meaning I can change my appearance at will. I inherited it from my Grandmother, as my mother nor father were Metamorphmagi's. 
My father died when I was aged 9, as one day he was brewing a potion, lethal to anyone who's skin touches it, and the potion fell completely on top of him. He died on the way to St Mungo's, and he was a great father. I really miss him to this day, as he was great with me and everything.
I began attending Hogwarts when I was 11, and I will never forget about my experience with the sorting hat. The sorting hat took a while with me, because I apperently possessed qualities of all houses. In the end, I was sorted into Gryffindor, which was the house I really wanted to be in, because that was the house all of my family were in.
I had quite a few friends, but I got along much better with boys. I was a Quidditch player also, a Seeker, I believe. But my real passion was Care of Magical Creatures, because all of these fascinating creatures were so beautiful and fascinating. I don't mean to boast, because I do not like boasting much, but I was one of the best at it in the class. Many of my friends thought me mad to like such a subject, but I disagreed. How could no one like the subject, I mean, it is amazing!
Enough about that though. I graduated when I finished my Seventh Year at Hogwarts, and then started to be a waitress at a wizarding restaurant. I hated the job, I really wanted to do something I loved. So, after a few years later, here I am now, applying for a job at Hogwarts.

Tell us all about your character: Hello there, my name is Rachel, but you can call me Rach.  I am a pureblooded witch.  Both of my parents are wizard and witches themselves.  Their names are Mary and Alexander Hawthorne.  Both of my parents are Herbologists. 

I went to school here a Hogwarts as a Hufflepuff and I fell in love with it at first sight.  I have always wanted to come back and teach here.  As of February 12 I am 23 years old.  I know that I am a bit young, but I'll try my best to keep up with everyone.

I am a rather quite person.  I tend to be by myself more than socializing with others.  But it doesn't mean that I don't have friends.  In fact I still keep in touch with a few people that went to school with me and we hang out during the weekends together.

The reason why I love being by myself is that I love taking care of plants and other vegetation.  So in other words, you can say that I love Herbology.  Taking care and loving plants is kind of a solo job.  Many of my friends tease me about being a tree hugger.  But I don't care, that is who I truly am down deep inside of me.

Why you would be good for this position: I think I am good for the position of Head Of Hufflepuff, for I am a former Hufflepuff myself.  I am a warmhearted person and can lead people in the right direction.  I think that I am also good for the position of the Herbology Professor because I have a passion for plants and have taught it on a few other HP sites.  I also have a very wide knowledge of different herbs and such things.

Oh, bonjour - agréable de vous rencontrer, je suis Sythe Du La Tombes et je m'applique à cette école- er.. Sorry about that, sometimes I forget i’m not at home, haha- it only really happens when i’m excited really, I am Sythe Du La Tombes, born and raised near the French Alps, yes- I am a bit far from home, but I don’t mind. I guess I should start by saying this, I am a pureblood, my mother had been Aurora BlueFeather, a witch who had went too this lovely school- Hogwarts, she had been rather good at creating potions from a young age,and excelled rather quickly in her classes, becoming rather popular, another thing about her is that she loved quidditch,although she never really did play it, I suppose she had been afraid of heights. My father had been from France, his name had been Augustin Du La Tombes, his family a rather rich one in France, known to most for his wisdom beyond his years, he had also been a rather famous quidditch player in France, i’m afraid his focuses went else where, my mother promises he could have went pro. They had met one year, and hit it off- however due to the distance became simple pen pals, love letters had always been sent, and eventually my mother moved to France to be with him. He would later become an Auror and my mother, she stayed a stay at home wife.

They had my brother first, a cold cruel man- that’s what most say about their older siblings but i’m afraid mine went more to..the sociopathic levels of cruelty, his name had been Alderic, and even too this day his name instills fear into me, I have to admit. After my brother had been born,my parents decided to marry- and that’s when they had me, my brother had only been three years older then myself- but he had been sent to Hogwarts, on my mother wishes- little did I know, she simply wanted to keep him away from the family, it had been winter...when a most unfortunate event had occured- I had been practicing my skills- even if it had been winter break, my father almost demanded perfection in both of us- Alderic and I, and in all honesty looking back now..it made more sense then I could ever see.

It was late, and I had been on my way home, when I had been attacked- by a white wolf type creature, at the time I hadn’t known any protection spells, and the following attack is what led to deep scars along my back, I hadn’t known that the wolf..had been a werewolf, I should have died there. My brother, had been in the area though, and merely an hour later- he had found me, and brought me to my parents, my father had been quiet hysterical..I was his only daughter.. my mother however, knowing her potions and what not had quickly gone to work on me, and without her knowledge..I’m afraid I wouldn’t be here today. Yes..I know... most school’s would never allow a werewolf in it..none the less let it be a teacher..but please...before you make your judgment, see that my honesty is a way of me showing that I am trying.

My mother, took me under her wing when I had recovered, showing me how to make wolfsbane- and I might add..it tastes horrible- and I once had that unfortunate mistake of devouring a skunk when I had been in my wolf form, i'd rather take the skunk any day over my medicine, but I take it, for the sake of my humanity- for the sake of the safety of others.But I'm getting off topic, when i had turned fifteen, my brother had ran away, I had never known why, but not long after he left, my mother had announced that I myself would be an older sister, scared that i would hurt my younger sibling, i begged my mother that she would send me away to Hogwarts.. however she wanted me to stay close to home, and I stayed at Beauxbatons, my younger sister Emma had been born when I had been at school, and she had a natural learning ability when it came to potions and herbs, it made my mother proud, knowing that she had a daughter just like herself, when I came back however my father had changed slightly, he seemed more off- now that I am older..I guess that the proper word for his actions had been that of a paranoid being, and that had also been the year that he- himself started teaching me, defense against the dark arts- not that i hadn't been learning it at school... he told me just to consider his teachings the advanced teachings.

To be quiet honest, at first... I wasn't that good, but I am a quick learner, even too this day, and I caught on quiet well. When I turned eighteen I graduated from Beauxbatons, on the day of my birthday of all days, Emma had only been three at the time, and I had more control over my werewolf form then I thought I never could have, honestly it's really hard to control the animalistic tendacies I have, I'd take my steak on the rare side, even harder to control it when it's on that side..this part..is a bit grim I have to say..but I will remain honest, and tell you that the day I left Beauxbatons, It had been a full moon, and I remember this so vividly..it's like it ...just happened yesterday.

You never quiet forget the face of a werewolf..especially the one who left you for dead, on the nights of the fullmoon, I stayed in the higher parts of the mountain..hunting rams and any unfortunate beings that fall in my path...but something led me home that night, and when I had gotten there..the scent of blood had been thick in the air.. naturally i went to the source, my father.. had been bleeding near death, underneath a beautiful silver werewolf...the same werewolf that had attacked myself, perhaps weres do rely on pack instinct, because i attacked that wolf, tackled him and broke through the window, I don't remember much of the fight, but the wolf hadn't gotten away in my rage, i had broken it's legs, and nearly killed it, if it hadn't been for my mother, she declared to me..."I can't have my daughter killing my son." Hahaha, how incredulous...but the next morning it had been true- it had been Alderic..he had killed my father.

My father...a kind man who thought muggles and and mudbloods had been equals.. a kind man who took in his two, beast of children. I don't know what was wrong with Alderic, but had had been..happy at the damage he caused.. he had.. been gloating to me, how he always wanted too end our father's life, how he always wanted me to be a werewolf with him, I didn't quiet understand at the time, and even though now...he's in Azkaban, and ever since that day.. I promised to protect those from people like him, those who threw away their humanity oh so long ago.

I spent the rest of my time, traveling- learning hat I can to keep back the beast within, learning what I can too save those who are too weak to fend for themselves, to protect them from people like my wicked older brother, to protect people like my mother and younger sister, which is why I wish to teach here.

Why you would be good for this position: I understand the fear of having a lycanthrope in you’re school, i would prefer it be a secret best kept by those who I know, or who the head mistress trusts, along with the potions teacher- i’m sure they’d catch on considering i’d need the lab to make the wolfsbane. I am incredibly skilled at defense of the dark arts,and would like to keep a full time position at Hogwarts, I will teach the children to protect theirselves against the darkness outside in this cruel world, but also teach them that we all have monsters on the inside.

My name is Vivian Marie Valhalla, I was born and raised in London, England. Though my parents are both pure bloods and they went to school before Hogwarts became a University, they decided to live in Muggle London and simply commute back and forth between there and the wizarding side. Like those families that grow up speaking one language in public and one in private, I went to a muggle school and learned muggle things while my parents 'homeschooled' me in magic. Nothing dangerous, just the basics and on weekends they would take me to Wizarding London to practice a little bit.

When I was thirteen they enrolled me in a school in Wizarding London to further my magical education, which was fine with me. I find it truly fascinating and I enjoy every bit of it. Therefore, I naturally enrolled in the University of Hogwarts when I turned of age. I majored in Herbology but my real passion is and always has been books and reading.

I like to think I'm a fairly nice person and easy to get along with. I enjoy a good time as much as the next person. Though, my idea of a Friday night alone is curling up with a good book and a bottle of wine. I love my plants and cooking and my white cat Snowflake. I'm currently single but if the right man comes along I'm open to anything.

Why you would be good for this position:

When your passion is reading what better place to work then in a library? I have always found books fascinating, especially the magical ones. I did some volunteer work in a muggle library before attending the University and enjoyed it immensely. I believe that if I could work in the University Library I would be a perfect fit. I learned the library inside and out while I attended the University so there isn't an issue of needing to learn where things are. In fact I bet I could even spruce it up a bit. If you put me in charge you won't regret it

Annyonghaseyo! My name is Hwang Hyo Joo. I'm a pure Korean in and out but not what a pureblood would have expected to be. This twenty two year old me is an alumni of Hogwarts and a proud member of the badgers (Hufflepuff). Due to my sorting being not the expected Slytherin, I was side line by my own flesh and blood and eventually disowned on the day I graduate. The perfect graduation gift no? You could put it plainly that I'm the black sheep of the Hwang family. The proud purebloods. Unfortunately or fortunately? 

Once upon a time, I was the proud daughter of the Hwangs and had always been the family favorite. The smart and a pretty little Hyo Joo. Love and adored by everyone. Everyone had high expectation on me since I don't have any brother. However, everything came crashing down the day that hat sorted me into Hufflepuff and by magic ironically...I now have a younger brother. My family regarded Hufflepuff as a house far below of a pureblood and a house of 'leftovers'. A complete disgrace to the family. I have no personal grudges against the hat although I keep saying 'the' hat rather than 'the ancient awesome looking wise sorting hat who takes an entire year just to think up of a new song and smells'. Ok I admit I held some grudges but that was during the first few years. Life was hard and family was suppose to make it better...not worse. OK! Enough of the sob story.

I always had this secret interest and admiration at the muggles and their never ending inventions. Being from the background that I once had, it is not something that should be told out loud. However, once that wonderful hat sorted me into where I am suppose to be...I am now a free bird. Free to love what I had always love and free to do it.

Why you would be good for this position: Despite being a pureblood, I love muggles and everything about them. I find them fascinating and amazing. “Let’s start with the basics, tell us a little about yourself.”

“My name is Hayashi Kyou, or Kyou Hayashi - in the Western Fashion. I was born on the 21st of September, and I am 25 years old.”

“So, Miste-… Miss… Is it okay if I call you Kyou?”

“It’s fine.”

“Let’s get some background on you, tell us about your family.”

“Well, my family, I don’t know them. I assume they were Londonites, because I was stuck in good old fucking London for a huge portion of my life. Actually, left right on the doorstep of some nice Presbyterian church. I was raised in the abbey by some nice nun I can’t remember until I was about 3. I was then adopted by an old woman with more money than sense. I suppose you’d like to know her name? Saori Hayashi. She couldn’t have kids. Thank whatever deity you’d prefer me to serve. She was nice enough, but dumber than shit. At least there was the endless string of nannies to try and raise me right. Ha. They taught me manner and proper etiquette, and I can use them when necessary… okay, more like when I damned well please… not the point. By all standards, I was the proper English gentleman – you know, save the fact that I look nothing like it. The old lady was all about appearances. When it came time for me to go to school, I got dumped at good ol’ Hogwarts. Best part of it was being in the dungeons – that’s right, I was Slytherin. Loved it. I made fantastic grades and I was pretty damned good at sports – was a hell of a Beater. Graduated at 18, thought about going through training to be a teacher, decided I could spend a few years blowing the old lady’s cash travelling. So I did that. It was brilliant.”

“… Are you always this… pleasant?”

“What.”

“Sorry… Moving on. What did you do during your travels?”

“I went to Japan. Figured I could dig up some history, try to see where I came from, maybe track down the woman that ditched me. You see, I was born with some peculiar… skills. Let’s just say I had déjà-vu a lot. Or I knew things. I ended up teaching Muggle kids English for a bit, it was easy money, and hey – I found out I liked handling brats during that time. It was a year. After that, I came back to England – more because the old lady harassing me to do something productive – like Uni. So I came back and did that. Some more glorious years right here at good ol’ Hoggy with the Snakes. Wonderful.”

“I like brats, and I found that I’m good with them. I know how to handle them. I’m a take-no-shit kind of person, and I feel that the brats need that sometimes. Especially the Snakes. I’m a-fucking-mazing in my field, because I was apparently born with the skill. Oh – and my O.W.L.’s and N.E.W.T.S. were bloody fantastic as well. You wish to know a bit about me? Well, I suppose I could indulge just a little bit. As you may very well know my name is Peyton Lovelace. I graduated from Hogwarts with outstanding marks though I did not have the aspiration of becoming a professor when I did so. I am twenty six years young and I do not regret a single choice I have made that has brought me here today. I guess we should start with the beginning though, aye? I was born on the west coast of Scottland so if my accent is too much for you I am not offended if I need to repeat myself. I don' think it matters so much but I was born to a pureblooded family of witches and wizards. My mum was a tailor who made and sold Quidditch memorabilia and my father worked for the ministry as an auror. The unfortunate part about my fathers job is it tends to never stay at work which could often be bad for all of us.

I was an only child up until my third year at Hogwarts when my wee little brother was born, though with his birth tragedy seemed to follow. It was during my brothers delivery that my fathers job spilled into our home life in the worst possible way. A small group of Werewolves who were committing atrocities with their poisnous blood were being harassed by my father who was trying to have them locked away. Although he couldn't prove it, we all knew that he was on to something big here. He must have had hard evidence that would have put them away too because during child birth is when they struck. They crept from room to room until they had dispatched everyone except my father, I only escaped because my father managed to cloak me from them with a spell.

They let my da' live though only as a message to anyone else who poked around in their business. It left him a broken man, to lose his wife and son to such a vicious attack. Although I alone survived, it was up to me to take care of my now mentaly unstable father. All through my Hogwarts terms I struggled to go to school and to keep a watchful eye on him through what family I had left. It was a trying time for the both of us yet somehow I managed to make it through. I guess focusing on my work alongside my hatred really paid off as I managed to achieve "Outstanding" on most of my term work. When I graduated I originally had the intention of becoming an Auror to find those responsible for what happened to my family.

Along the way however something inside of me changed, I don't know what it was. Perhaps I was scared of facing the truth, perhaps I was afraid of what I might become. Realizing this however I decided that I would apply for the position of potions at the Uni. Perhaps instead of channeling my anger into something that would only bring more bloodshed I might be able to enlighten someone else to avoid just that. So I guess you can say that I am complicated in a way, I harbor ill will towards Werewolves and other creatures like them yet I try to remain passive aggressive about it. Otherwise you will find that I am a calm and composed individual who is more than capable of running a classroom. I am punctual, I expect much from each individual, and I will not settle for lazy half brained excuses.

Enough about my past though, I suppose you want to know what I do with my time currently, aye? Well I spend alot of time collecting precious magical artifacts. Collecting is a hobby of mine, I love the uncovering of old ruins and many hidden magical secrets. You could say I am a bit of a history nut, yet for some reason I chose potions as my job. If that is all you need to know about me then I would very much like to get back to my errands. Thank you for giving me this chance to be interviewed, however, it was quite lovely chatting with you.

Position you want: Potions Professor
Why you would be good for this position: I was studying to become an Auror ever since my second year at Hogwarts. Potions, the creation and detection is an important aspect to that job. In all my years at Hogwarts I have never achieved a low grade in the subject, despite my other classes suffering at times. When it comes to potions they speak to me, something clicks and I just get it as if it was second nature. I would love to bring that sort of excitement and learning to the students here so that they might learn to appreciate what most consider to be a boring art.
