She may not have been there long, but Macy was already starting to be at the university, for her it felt too much like she was back at school, which she had hate. The only good thing about being there was that she didn't have to deal with her father ignoring her at home, she knew he was ashamed of her because of what she was, it’s not like she wasn't ashamed of it herself it was why she kept it a secret but when she was losing control of it, it was hard to deal with, it’s why she had took to spending her time in her dorm, an empty classroom or in the library since not many people chose to spend there time there. It’s in the library she found herself today, just flicking through a book, she wasn't even paying attention to what she was looking at, she was too distracted by the fact everyone in the room was watching her. She had felt flattered at first until she had realized it was the stupid allure from the veela side of her that they were attracted to, not her. It was always the allure, she was surprised no one had worked out what she was by now, especially since she was struggling to keep that side of her under control so the staring was happening a lot lately. It was starting to annoy her every time she looked up someone new was sat watching her, others were trying to impress her it was starting to make her sick.
Having enough of every male making a fool of himself in front of her she closed the book and stood up, seeing the disappointment on their faces she groaned “stop staring at me and get a life none of you would ever have a chance with me, so just leave me alone” she makes her way to the back of the library, out of sight from everyone else, at least she wouldn’t have to deal with them staring at her anymore, well not until she decided to show her face again. She would happily hex everyone of them out there but she knew that would most likely get her expelled and she had only just started to get back to doing what she loved she wasn’t about to lose her chance to play Quidditch again, not over some moronic boys. She had never been good at controlling the allure she gave off but over the years she had gotten better, but with the stress of starting here and having to hide it again she had started to lose control of it, typical really.
She found herself in the back of the library, from the layers of dust on everything she could only assume no one ever came to this part so she hoped she would be safe, well until she needed to leave she would be safe. Leaning against the wall she slid down to the floor, crossing her legs. She leans her head back and closes her eyes just trying to ignore everything around her, thinking about being up in the sky, it was the only thing that ever calmed her down, she decided she would have to go flying soon well she needed to start getting ready for the Quidditch seasons, she needed to get the team ready for matches. She was so lost in her thoughts that she hadn’t heard the footsteps that were nearing where she was.
Her eyes shot open as she heard someone clearing their throat in front of her, she looked up at them, wanting them to leave her alone, the thought of hexing them came back to mind “no Macy not a good idea” she muttered to herself not realizing she had spoke out loud “can I help you? Or are you just going to stand there all day looking like a moron?” she pulled herself from the floor as she looked at the person in front of her “hmm maybe I should introduce myself, I’m Macy, Macy Stuart you may have heard of me, and you are?”
