The first thing every member should do is read the Official Rulebook
and the University Guidelines that come with it.
All students should immediately get sorted.

Vampires
Stronger then most and must drink blood in order to live. They can't be born, they must be turned and can't handle the sun very well. They can't turn someone else into a vampire without admin permission. They're not allowed to feed on school grounds.
Werewolfs
Stronger then most, but only during full moon. They can be born and/or turned. They can't turn someone else into a werewolf without admin permission. During full moon it's encouraged that a werewolf seeks refuge in the Haunted Forrest on campus.
Veelas
Full veelas are becoming very rare, but partial blood is allowed. Veelas are almost always women, but some males are found. They're known for their beauty and usually tend to have a hot temper. People are typically drawn to someone with veela blood, more then they usually would.
Animagi
An Animagus can take the form of a single animal. This animal always has distinguishing marks that are representative of the witch or wizard. It is a highly advanced form of transfiguration that requires registration with the Ministry of Magic.
Metamorphmagi
Metamorphmagi are born not made and very rare. They have the ability to change their appearance by willing the change to happen. You can not suddenly become a metamorphmagus.
Legilimens
Legilimency is the ability to extract emotions and memories from someone. A legilimens can't extract emotions/memories in the sense that they remove said memories – they can simply read and interpret them. Eye contact is always required. Legilimency brings memories to the surface of someone’s mind, though these memories are not always relevant and it takes talent to bring the relevant memories to the surface.
Occlumens
Occlumency is a branch of magic used to block the mental intrusion of a legilimens and other branches of magic meant to penetrate the mind. It is the only way to block the attack of a legilimens without avoiding physical nearness and eye contact. an occlumens must be able to fully clear their mind giving the legilimens nothing to latch onto.
Seers
A Seer is a gifted wizard or witch who has the ability to see into the future with their Inner Eye. Seers predict prophecies, which are then recorded and stored inside the Ministry of Magic.
