Based on the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. TTOR is an intermediate to advanced roleplay set during the time before The Fall. Both canons and originals are welcome!
A great deal of time has passed since the formation of the Shur'tugal or Dragon Riders. For centuries they have kept peace in Alagaësia. Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Urgals, Werecats and Dragons all share the land. Every once and a while the Riders who occupy Doru Araeba (The City of Dragon Riders) on the island of Vroengard sends eggs to the mainland. It is there were the unhatched dragons choose a worthy rider. With apprentices being trained in the elven city of Ilirea and every other citizen of Alagaësia living out their lives, it seems as though the prosperity will continue for a long time to come.
However, every path has points of uneven terrain. Even in times like this there is war, suffering, and unfortunate circumstances. The question is how do you fit in? What mark will you make in Alagaësia? Like all those who came before you, it is time for your journey.
