oh what a night //everyone, rapid fire

This was probably a month that she could do without at times, but then, what fun would it be without some fun. Yeah, even in her own mind that didn't make any sense. She stopped thinking then and looked in the mirror. The final pieces were put together and she smiles then. Airlia looked good, or at least, that what she thought. She would just have to wait and see when she walked into the ball no wouldn't she. She hated the wait, but hell, she just wanted to have a good time.

Lia then left and made her way to the dining hall and she stopped for a moment to take in the scene. It was defiantly different from yesterday. There used to be tables to eat at, no more. She smiled then and she walked over to the juice table. She grabbed a glass and she looked around. One thing she did know was that she was going to have to pay attention, and still do her prefect job, but she was going to take a break and forget about it tonight.

She spotted and empty chair and she walked over to it. She sat down and she watched as others mingled and some even danced, adn she just sipped the red liquid. She barely knew anyone, no matter how many years she has been here. She rarely talked to anyone, except for the team and the other prefects, and even then, she could be silent.

"Trust me, it would take a miracle to actually annoy me." she said with a soft laugh. Normally she was the annoying one, ever cheerful, ever eager to help. Apparently being chatty and willing to assist were qualities that normally drove people mad. "It's not really common in the uni from what I know. Then again I don't tend to ask or tell unless it comes up." she said with a smirk.

Dawn seemed to be one of those girls who had no self confidence at all from what she gathered. "That's good. Getting yourself out there will make the rest of the term so much easier. No one can do it alone, despite what the lone wolf type will tell you." she said with a chuckle. "Don't say that, I'm sure you will make friends before you know it. I mean, I'm talking to you aren't I?" she asked, nudging the girl with her arm. "You have to give it time, sometimes it can take a while to find the right people." she said trying to be encouraging.

"You will have a hard time looking it up. Most of what you find is a third person account by europeans. It takes digging and visiting the tribes to find any substantial information." she said. Normally one had to know who to ask because getting the information from stories was the best source rather than trying to do conventional research.

Bella was stood in her room looking herself up and down. She was aware the party had already started and she was missing it but she did not know if she could go ahead with going to the party in what Skye had suggested to her. She stood biting her lip.She ran her hands down the side of the tight black dress. It did show her figure that she had forgotten she had. She smiled she did look hot. She hoped that this would give her a bit of a confidence bust. She pushed her hair out of her face and put a few wickers on her face and put deep red lipstick on her lips. All she needed now was her ears. Pulling them into position. She took the plunge and headed down tot he party. 


When she reached the party the music was loud and everyone had tired and looked so different to normal. She saw her best friend getting off with her boyfriend she smiled, walking into the party. She put a sly grin on her face and tried to channel the sexy slinky confidant Bella Skye told her. She just hoped the boy she was trying to impress was her and not with anyone else that would brake her heart.

Emilie walked through to the dining hall. she wasn't at all suprised at how they had chose to decorate it, it seemed similar to that of last year. what suprised her was how many people were there, no more than half a dozen were scattered around the room. shaking her head she walked over to the bar to get herself a drink, as she got closer she noticed that Aurore was stood there with a girl. she knew she had no reason to be jealous but she was anyway. walking over she snuck up behind Rori and slipped her arm around her waist.



"hey well don't you look amazing tonight" she kisses her cheek before looking at the other girl "you don't mind if I steal her away for a dance do you?"

Jared stood in a corner, propped his pretend gun across his shoulder and yawed ever so slightly. Yup, he should have just stayed in bed tonight. He was still so tired from his bout with the moon from last night. But since he had promised Isabelle that he would be her date for the Halloween ball, he felt that it wouldn't be fair for him to ditch her.  She would probably hate him for it and try to find some way of getting revenge on him.

Stiffing another small yawn, placing the gun next to him, he leaned against the wall he was standing by and watched the other attendees.  Everyone was dressed up amazingly.   Jared's dark eyes roamed around the room and he spotted a few people that he knew. One in particular, Airlia, his seeker, was there and sitting by herself as usual. He shook his head and mused to himself. She really ought to go and talk to more people.

As he debated whether or not to go talk to Airlia, someone caught Jared's eyes. The boy tilted his head to the side as a smile appeared on his face. Humm, Isabelle looks hotter than usual today, he thought silently to himself. Staying put for now, he waited for the girl to notice him first.  Although it would be more traditional for him to go to her... but he decided against it.

Isabelle stood with her figures tracing the hem of her dress. She did not know where to look first there was a lot of things happening she recognized some of the people from her house. But she was looking for that brown haired boy. She bit slightly on her red lips as she attempted to walk gratefully to the bar. There she would have a better view of the hall. Clicking her heels as she walked she kept looking around the room. Still biting her lip she reached the bar and ordered a glass of red wine. She was a bag of nerves and a drink was going to help. She had never dressed so falteringly. She had noticed a few glances and she could not help but smile. Still slightly looking for her date. Until she clocked him in the corner. She noticed he was looking at her and she raised her class to him and smiled. 

She was playing it cool and hard to get like Skye had told her to do. She wanted the boy to be hooked. She giggled at the thought and took a sip of her wine. Rolling her foot around on the floor. She was playing the waiting game. She looked at him in the eyes for a few seconds and turned her attention to the people dancing and having fun. Bella wanted to see how long she could toy with him till he caved. She was going to do everything Skye had told her.

Ahh, Isabelle had spotted him. Jared quirked an eyebrow at the girl when she raised her glass of wine at him. However she didn't then proceed to go over to him. Hummm, strange. But then a light bulb lit up in his head. Inclining his head in a polite nod of his head, the boy continued to make no moves to go to her. It looks like she had wanted to play the waiting game. Well, two can play the game. He was going play along and see who will cave first.

A tiny smirk played across his face as Jared thought of a plan to make Isabelle cave first or for worst, get angry and leave. He was hoping that it would be the first reaction. Taking his eyes off the vampire girl, he tilted his head towards Airlia and pretend to debate on whether or not to go and talk to her. However, out of the corner of his eyes, the boy made sure that the girl was still in his peripheral vision. If she made a move to leave, then of course he would follow her. This plan was a rather risky one, but it would show him, how much she wanted to be with him.

   Dawn couldn't help but smile at Aurore's advice and nudge. She sure is different from the other people I've known. But that's probably a really good thing. She looked around the room for a few moments, taking in many different details. Being the quiet one had always graced her with a strange understanding of people from simple glimpses.  "Seems like tonight may turn out interesting, with everyone coming out to party and have fun. I love this music that they're playing," she added as an after-thought. She couldn't help but tap her boot-clad foot on the floor to the beat.
   The beat was what mattered to her rather than the words behind it. She said, "What kind of music do you like, Aurore?" She was genuinely curious about her newest acquaintance, but she didn't want to be seen as too nosy. She couldn't help but notice how her skirt was trying to slip up her waist, so she nervously pulled it back down with a light blush. The jewelry she wore glittered from the movement and lights.

The night was still young and the party was just warming up. Those with a date had already met up with their partners while the single ones were either forming a band on their own or huddling up in a corner alone just like Ken. The vampire had lived long enough through all the revolution and festivities of the humans. He watched them expand accordingly, highly dependable as to the creativity of a human mind which was pretty much limited. It was one of the many ways he entertain himself. 

Tonight was a night where he was literally in his own skin and just like every year, he tends to enjoy the party and its possible surprises to its fullest. He took a sip of his syrup as his eyes scanned the crowd. He knew most of them but he knew those curfew breakers individually, and they knew him well. In the midst of it, he spotted airlia adler. A Second year and a badger prefect. He knew her by name since they hold the same responsibility. She was alone and so was he. It doesn't look like anyone was going to approach her anytime soon nor does she looked like she was awaiting her date. A chat wouldn't hurt tonight right? He walked up behind her like a shadow, "And what are you suppose to be Miss Adler?"

"I have recently taken a liking to muggle music, actually. Have you ever heard of Fallout Boy?" she said with a chuckle in reply to the girls question. It was something she was trying to get in to more now that she knew Emilie liked it. Sure that was a terrible reason to like something but why not give something you knew little about a shot? She adored Emilie and wanted to be able to share in something she knew she loved. Just as she was about to say something else Emilie decided to show herself, kissing Rori on the cheek in greeting.

"Nice costume. I was starting to wonder if you celebrated or not. Looks wonderful on you." she said, before letting Emilie take her hand. With an apologetic look in her eyes and a stupid grin on her face she looked to Dawn for a moment. "Sorry, we'll be back shortly." she said before she let Emilie steal her away to the dance floor. Come to think of it this would be the first time they had any reason to do so.

"Know what's funny about this? Somehow I am not suprised by your costume choice. You always seemed like the strong rebel type." she said, teasing Emilie but complimenting her at the same time.
