Her day started out bad. She had a killer headache as she did not get to feed last night. So she was a little grumpy this morning. She got dressed slowly and stood looking in the mirror. She was starting to get black circles under her eyes. She sighed as she fixed her hair and put makeup on trying to get rid of the circles. She smiled at herself and she got a flash of her fange. She looked at them and turned looking for her wand. She did not know where she put it last. This girl could lose her head if was no0t screwed on. She would have no chance been nearly headless nick. That would be a nightmare she thought as she looked around her bed and in it. She had not got a clue where she last had it. Eventually she checked her bag and there it was a sigh escaped her lips as she heard her name been called. It was her friends calling her to leave for breakfast. 


The most important meal of the day she thought as she headed out of the portal from there common room and headed to breakfast. The girls were giggling and talking about boys or something along them lines as normal. She was not paying attention all she was focusing on was not sinking her teeth into a lone person and having her food it had been 5 days since the last bit of blood she had and it was now showing she could not live off lollipops all the time. Just as that thought came into her head her hand was slipping into her bag ar reviled the lushes read candy. She unravel it and popped it in her mouth. Tasting the seat taste. she cooed to herself as she walked. They entered the dining hall and there was chatter everywear. The smell of food and humans mixes with morning breath it was wired. 


The girls went to there normal space on the hufflepuff table. She sat and happily joined in the conversations. She was not wearing it was nothing that was not out of the normal for her. She always just sat there smiling. It soon came to first first lessons and Bella had a free period so she was going to do some reading in the dining hall. People filtered out and she sat there and pulled her work out after she said bye to her friends.

As soon as the tables in the Dining Hall were magically cleaned, Skye stepped on her chair to sit on top of the hardwood table where she ate breakfast with some friends. They were getting ready for their first class of the year, but luckily Skye didn’t have anything until this afternoon. This meant she would be hanging around all day, pretty much nothing to do yet. She didn’t mind, but some company would actually be quite nice. She waved her friends goodbye absent-mindedly and layed back on the table, looking up to the ceiling. Nobody was here anyway. Plus the ceiling was still amazing to look at after a year. People say Hogwarts has it too in the Great Hall, a magical ceiling which makes it look like… Basically like there’s no ceiling at all. The weather was looking pretty nice for today actually.

Skye sat up when she heard some guys who were walking by snicker in her direction. They could probably see under her skirt. Skye threw them a wink and hopped off the table. So immature… Skye thought and rolled her eyes before striking down her skirt a little. She still hated the uniform they had to wear on school days here. It’s probably the thing she misses most from Beauxbatons, the uniform was amazing. Now she was stuck with the thigh-high socks, skirt and a tie for Merlin’s sake. She loosened up the green and silver tie some more at that thought and opened the top button of her shirt too. Skye was happy she ordered the uniform two sizes too small this year, last year her own size was so big she looked like some kind of dwarf. The skirt was a little too short now, but whatever, the guys from just now didn’t seem to mind.

Looking around the quickly emptying hall, Skye saw a blonde girl sitting a few tables away from her. She was reading something and suddenly Skye remembered seeing her last year. The vampire. At Beauxbatons there’d never been any vampires, some veela blood for sure, but aside from a bad temper and a pretty face they were nothing special. Did she even eat normal breakfast a few moments ago? Skye thought and couldn’t help her interest in the girl peaking. She approached slowly and sat on top of the table again, this time right next to the vampire’s book. She waited for the blonde to look up at her and smirked. “Hey vampire-girl! How’s it going?”

Bella started reading her book. She was still aware of other people around her moving about. It was not sure if they were going to class or just hanging around. She had a few hours to kill and she had just started a new book last night and wanted to finish it. She was engrossed in the story but she knew only a few moments had past. She hired a whistle and she turned her head back. it was a few lads whitling. She rolled her eyes as she looked at the slytherin they were making the fuss over. She was just glad that they were not making a fuss over her. She hated that. After all the years at hogwarts people got use to it but there was always a few first year that asked questions. It would be the same everywhere she thought. She just wanted someone to know what she is going through. Someone she could be totally real with. But she knew that would not happen anytime soon. 

She went back to her buck to only get interrupted by the girl that was on the table. She could smell the girls sent before she noticed the girl climbing onto the table. Bella noticed that her skirt was as little short and her top a bit tight. Was this girl trying to get all the boys attention all the time. She folded the corner of the page down as the girl started talking to her. Closing her book and placing her hands on top. Bella flashed her fangy smile to her. She recognised her face she was in the same year as her. She may have even been in the same classes but she did not talk to a lot of people as she was so shy. 

"Hi, and i have a name you know....more than 'vampire girl' " She said in a sweet voice that was a little hypnotising if you listened to it long enough. She liked that about her the best thing she liked about being a vampire. He dad often said it was a good tool to use to get prey. But she never. The school knows she drinks human blood but there only rule to it is that she can't 'feed' on school ground. 

With the girl asking how thing were going she hesitated and looked into the girls face she was not going to spill her guts to her. She would not even tell her best friends that she was hungry and every beat of their heart was a deadly temptation for her to sink her fangs into their pink flesh. "I'm well as i could be at school, yourself? Getting the attention of the opposite sex again i see" She said with another smile crossing her lips.

Skye couldn’t help letting out a small laugh, she hadn’t expected the girl to be a little feisty like that. She changed the smirk on her face to a friendly smile, hopefully showing that she meant no harm or whatsoever. She was just interested in the girl and who could blame her? She was majoring in Care for Magical Creatures for Merlin’s sake, anything that’s non or half human interests her. Especially after hearing her voice, Skye can imagine how they’re able to lure in their prey. Would be so handy to have skills like that. Skye slid off the table into the chair next to her, so their eyes were on the same height. “Well, I don’t recall an introduction between the two of us, so I had to say something.” Skye held out her hand and continued. “I’m Skye, and your name is?”

Skye narrowed her eyes when she was told ‘as well as I could be at school’. Does that mean she feels better when she’s not at school? Skye thought about it and it probably made sense. She always saw the girl at dinner and breakfast last year, but doesn’t know if she actually eats anything here. There’s no way that she’s allowed to feed from human blood on school grounds. Which made everything fit in Skye’s thoughts. Hell, she’d be uncomfortable too if she was hungry and her favourite dish was being pushed under her nose all day. She didn’t comment on it though, it’s probably not something the blonde wants to talk about.

So instead Skye threw her head back again in laughter and then rolled her eyes. The comment about the guys checking her out was hilarious to her. She never thought anyone would pay attention to that, if it wasn’t her, she’d actually be annoyed as hell by the whistling boys. “Too bad they’re not cute or anything, eh?” She commented and looked back to see the guys were already gone from the Hall. It was just them and some other kids hanging around. Looking back at the blonde she felt a pang of jealousy, this girl was so fascinating, she’ll probably have a guy do anything for her. And not just do stuff, but really like... love. “But yeah... Where’s your boyfriend?”

Bella looked at the girl as she moved and sat next to her she was rather peculiar. she did not know how to take her. but all she knew was that she could see the pulse of her heart beat on her neck every second pumping the hot stick blood round the girls body all she wanted to do was tasty the sweet nectar of the girl. Sink her fangs so far into the neck of the girl. Taste and drink...feed. She ran her tongue over her lip as she listened and heard the heartbeat. She knew one swift move she could have the nectar of this silvering girl. There were not many people looking there way she could get away with it. She noticed she was staring at the girls pulling neck and shook her head as she looked back to her book cover that was in her hands. It was something for class she had to focus. She would have to sneak out and take some blood from a willing victim. Not to kill but just enough so she would be able to sustain herself. A few people maybe. 

The girls voice brought her out of here thoughts. She looked at the outstretched hand she did not really like touching human she is different and she was too vulnerable at the moment it may push her over the edge and feed. "Im Isabelle, but people call me Bella. Sorry about snapping my head is somewhere else." She glanced to wear the girl was looking and it was for the boys that was whistling earlier. She didn't have a good look so she just raised her eyebrows. She was not much of a talker not really. She pushed her hair behind her ear. Bella was shocked when the girl though she had a boyfriend. In fact she had never had a boyfriend. She was too scared to lose control with them and hurt them. The worst she could do was drink them dry. Yes she had very close boy friends but thats all they ever were with her friends. She did want one though. All the novels she has read about romance she wanted it for herself. "I don't have a boyfriend, It could be too dangerous" She said flashing a fangy smile her way. "What about yourself you have a lot of attention of is it just they way you dress?" She said as she looked over her clothes again. Showing too much skin for bella's liking and she liked skin.....especially the feel of it beneath your lips as the warm blood spilled over it.......

Skye didn't think a lot of it when Isabelle basically rejected her hand shake, she obviously had her reasons and Skye respected that. She set both of her hands on the table, crossing them and looked at Isabelle again. “Oh, don't worry about it! Everybody has those days.” Skye said with a smile to reassure the girl she wasn't mad or anything like that.

Her eyes widened in shock though, when Isabelle mentioned she didn't have a boyfriend. Not just because of that, but because of what she said after that. Dangerous. Skye thought about it and could understand it, especially after seeing the impressive set of teeth, but there had to be some way to make something like that work right? She'd probably have to be fully fed or something.

“Really? I didn't expect that at all! Don't guys love something a little mysterious like that?” Isabelle probably got lots of offers, but maybe she denied them, too afraid of hurting someone. It actually made Skye kind of sad and she got the automatic urge to help her. But how the fuck do I do that?

“I mean... It should be possible right?- Wouldn't you be able to... you know, if you're fully fed or something like that?” Skye cringed a little at her own words, she had no idea if this is an appropriate way to talk about stuff like that with a vampire. She licked her lips, some nerves running through her body as she didn't want to piss Isabelle off. Skye laughed again however, when Isabelle mentioned her getting attention.

“Attention yeah, but other then my looks they're never really interested in me.”

Bella looked at the girl when they were talking about boys she did not talk about boys no more here and her friends. Most of them had boyfriends but Isabelle always sent to push them away and not get close to them that was because she felt like she would lose control and she did not want that. She smiled and looked down then pushed her hair behind her ear.

"i can be around people even when i'm not fully fed iv been doing it all my schooling life. I'm doing it right now" She said sheepishly she did not want to scare the girl. She was the only other person that had talked to her outside of her best friend.

When she said about what boys went with her it made her think. She started talking before she even thought. "Well if you didn't dress so...so....so slutty they may respect you more." She bit her lip. "I'm sorry, i just ........ well people would think that."

Skye shouldn't have been shocked by Isabelle's answer, but she was. If she thought long enough about it, it seemed unimaginable even. What if Skye herself wouldn't be able to eat the thing she needs to basically survive, her entire schoolcareer? She'd be impossibly grumpy, she wouldn't even be able to concentrate. And when she thought about it like that, it almost seemed unfair to her that Isabelle wasn't able to feed.

“Isn't that... incredibly unfair? I mean... I wouldn't even be able to concentrate without eating.” Skye couldn't believe that right at this moment, Isabelle must probably be starving, while her food is just hanging around her and even talking to her. That girl must have incredible self-control.

“Did they give you any rules here about feeding? I mean it's not like you have to kill someone right?” Skye asked and propped her elbow on the table to lean on her hand. She'd never expected the conversation would take this turn and she definitely hadn't expected her thoughts to take the turn they just made, but she'd keep quiet about that for a little longer. It's probably quite the taboo to offer yourself like that to a vampire. But hey, when has Skye ever cared about taboos? She glanced at the dark mark tattoo on her arm as proof.

She couldn't help throwing her head back in laughter though, when Isabelle told her about her clothing style. “Oh don't worry, you can say whatever you want about me! I don't mind. But yeah you're probably right... It's just that I'm comfortable this way you know?”

Bella could not really read this girl. Also she could not beloved they were talking about what she was she did not like it one bit. She did not like who she was so why did everyone that talked to her only talk about that. "I mean i do eat.... i just don't get chance to do it often that's why i'm always eating these lollies and drinking wine She said as she leaned on the table. She looked down and chewed on her bottom lip. She was thinking hard about how to go about what she was going to tell the girl .

"There are many rules. I cant eat or drink or whatever you want to call it within the school grounds or i will be kicked out. The safety of the students and all.........." She said. Bella was playing with her fingers as she was a little nerves. But with Skye last comment it made her smile slightly she wished she could be like that but her guarded was always up so she did not lose control and kill anyone.

She continued to talk quietly as a few more people had came into the hall and she did not want to draw any more attention to herself. "......I have killed someone from feeding.......it just depends how hungry you are and how much self control you have.....plus going through teenage years is hard all the hormones and everything" towards the end she started to giggle to herself as she remembered her as a teen and going through the whole growing into a woman thing.

Skye took in all the information Isabelle gave her and thought about it carefully. It made sense that the school had rules for her, but on the other side it didn't. Especially with what Isabelle told her. Maybe it was just Skye's weird logic, but couldn't it be done a little different? So the girl wouldn't have to eat those suckers and drink red wine, who even likes red wine, all day?

Skye wasn't shocked when Isabelle told her about having killed someone, a vampire is a vampire, and she could imagine how horrible it would be to go through puberty like that. Skye'd had enough problems during her own puberty, let alone being a young vampire craving blood.

“Wouldn't it be smarter to feed... more occasionally here then? I mean, if you're always... sated or something like that, you'd never even be hungry enough to kill someone, right, and your control would only increase the more you do it? Or is my logic way off now?”
