Welcome Event // students only

Skye had been giddy the entire day of the welcome event. She remembered the night very well from last year, and it had been absolutely hilarious to watch everyone dance around each other awkwardly at the beginning. Many of the first years didn't know each other yet (hell, she'd been one of those students who didn't know anyone) and that was the reason she walked into the pub this early. As expected, she was the first one there. She smiled at the bartenders and walked his way. This was going to be a lot of fun!

“Heyoo! Ready for tonight?" She called out when she sat down at the bar and let out a laugh.

Savannah always enjoyed the welcome party, it had always been the best place for her to scout out guys but not this year, she already had her eyes on someone. She could also have a laugh as the new first years stood around acting akward, even back when she was a first year she wasn't like that. She had made her way to the pub when she had finished getting ready, she was surprised by herself at how covered up she was.

Walking in she saw skye already there it was typical for the slytherins to get there first they always did, they just loved to party

Logan and scooter were getting ready for the welcome party it was about time Logan found someone to have a bit of fun with he thought and he knew Scooter was thinking the same thing. Logan was glad a load of his friend from hogwarts came to this school too so he headed to meet them. Heading to outside the pub he waited for all his friends to be there. 

Once there was all there he headed in first. It was dead. He was shocked he rolled his eyes and turned to his mates. He wanted to see what all the fuss was about. He went over to a corner with his group and waited for it to get a bit busier.

When Savannah walked in Skye chuckled, of course all the Slytherin's would arrive first. She waved towards the headgirl and nodded in the direction of the bartender.

"Ey Savannah! We should do some shots to get the party started a little don't ya think?" Skye said pulling one of her eyebrows up, smiling. Some more guys walked in, first years, but Skye recognized no one from the Slytherin dorms. They were good looking though, so Skye didn't really mind what house they were in. She eyed one of the taller ones with dark hair and winked at him when he looked her way. She couldn't wait for the place to get crowded.

Savannah walked over to skye and leaned against the bar "shots sound like a really good way to get the party started" she laughs as she looks around, it was pretty quiet ib the pub, she had expected a few more people by now but nope just two slytherins and some first year gryffindors. She looked at th bartender and ordered two shots of muggle vodka

Bella remembered the welcome event from last year. She remembered all the whispering and staring at her. She got it everywhere she went she was use to it. But she did not expect it on such big numbers last year. Being another year older she felt more comfortable. She had gotten talked into going by her friend rachel who wanted to set her up with some. Bella was against it but she didn't mind. Getting out of the school she maybe be able to have a sneaky drink of blood too.

She slipped on a dress and twirled in the mirror grabbing her bag has headed off. Linkin Her her arm with her friends she entered the filling pub it was full of chatter and it looked like she had slipped in unnoticed.

The Welcome Party was a great tradition they had going on at Hogwarts University. There was nothing of the sort at Durmstrang. Having all the students gather up at the beginning of the term provided a great place for Scott to check out all the girls.

As he arrived, his eyes automatically skipped over all the shy looking first years. Even in his first year he had not been shy. All of the older students had taken a liking to him. After going through basically the whole crowd, Scott's eyes found their target. Skye and Savannah. Skye was infamous around the school, and Savannah was a beauty. Marching over towards them, Scott flipped his hair and winked at Skye.

"T'sup, Skye, Savannah?"

Swallowing the first vodka shot Savannah ordered down, Skye made a face, pure muggle alcohol wasn't always enjoyable the first few drinks. She laughed again an threw her hands up when a song she knew started playing. She swayed her hips on the rythm of the music and felt the beat bounce against her chest. The arrival of Scott made her smile more. The attractive fourth year was always a joy to be around and it felt good that out of all the people he chose her and Savannah to join.

"Ey stud!" She said jokingly and opened her arms inviting the older guy for a hug. "Well, now that you're here the party can really get started right?"

Savannah smiled as scott joined her and skye. She drank her shot smirking at skye's reaction to the taste of the drink "well the party can officially start the unholy trinity is here" she laughs lightly as she orders another round of drinks, she planed on having the best night of her night.

"Well since you found your way to the party scott you can come dance with me and get this thing going cause this is kinda lame" she looks around the room, everyone just stood around

Bella looked around nothing was happening. The same as last year. They all looked so shy except from a bunch of then that came in together. They were laughing and dancing in a group. Mostly dominated by males and gryffindors. Bella smiled as her friend whispered in her ear 'lets go get a drink till bobby get here' bobby was her friends boyfriend of a year.

They walked past a group of slytherins containing two girls and a boy. Bella leaned in and asked the bar tender for a large glass of red wine and a rum and coke for her friend. The wine would subdue her thirst especially with all these people here.
