September Updates & a Gringotts How-To

Hello everyone,

I'm excited to make this september update already, it feels like time is flying by! Everyone has probably noticed that there's lots of new stuff on the site, and with this update I'm going to run you guys through them a little.

• The Claim Board

There is a new board, especially for all the claims. Everyone should check the board out quickly, because we've added lots of new claims that could be very exciting for plotting with each other.

• New classes have been added!

Every class now has their own sub-board in the Classrooms in Use board. This way more things can be posted by the professors (like a schedule or a shopping list) to make everything more realistic! We also have a new Head of Slytherin; everyone say hi to Kyou! He will be teaching the major Divination. If you're ready to earn your house some points remember that Charms, Herbology and Dark Arts are open lessons at the moment. Don't forget to sign up in the Lecture Hall first.

• And now the biggest announcement: Gringotts!

To make this roleplaying experience even more fun we have created a payment system. I'm going to give you a simple how-to here, so it's all a little easier to understand.

- The first thing everyone should do, is to set up your own Inventory. In your Inventory, you can look at all the items you've bought for your different characters. You need an Inventory to be able to buy items, so make sure to set one up.
- After you've done this, you can look at ways on how to earn extra Sickles. You get one Sickle for each post you make (doubles don't count of course), the amount of Sickles will be given to you by the end of every week. By going to the Earning Money thread however, you can earn some extra Sickles to get the item you want that much faster!
- You have your Inventory and enough Sickles? Now you can get to buying your items. There are several threads in the Gringotts board where you can buy for example a wand and/or robes. For an explanation on how to buy something, go to the Gringotts Info thread. There, you can even find out how to get items for free!

Oh and, because this is new, I think we should celebrate. Which is why I'm giving everyone 100 Sickles as a gift! If you still have any questions, please PM me or one of the other staff members, we'll be happy to help you out. Happy roleplaying everyone!
